    Sleeping Kitties!

It sure is! It was so hard to see her last winter sitting on the porch when it was so cold. She's only been inside since the Monday of Thanksgiving week,2013.She's adjusted pretty well I'd say. Now, if we'd only get rid of that coyote we keep in the House... ;)

    Sleeping Kitties!

Nope... Katniss is most definitely a feral... She showed up 18 months ago, ear docked from a recent spaying. If day she was a drop off, except we live across from a campus where there are MANY Katniss look alike roaming around lol. Our vet had to knock her out for shots because she freaked out...

    Sleeping Kitties!

Katniss, our feral kitty. She's taken to sleeping on my pillow (of course, right?) if I bring her upstairs past the dog.

    Ringworm... Nightmare?

We went through it last year with a rescue kitten. My daughter (8 at the time) had it up to her eyes for Christmas. It was awful & discouraging & depressing. It took 4 months, $2000, ruining all my silver jewelry (temporarily) with the sulphur dip & many tears. In the end we had to have the vet...

    coconut oil

One of my girls had some off a spoon this afternoon and loved it! Yes... Look for "virgin". I get "organic virgin coconut oil" at Trader Joe's. Wegmans has a great one too, just more expensive.

    Raw eggs

Thanks! Katniss (the feral) is now inside only (it'll be interesting with open windows in the spring!), so I'll stick with 1-2/week I think, unless I need to fill in some gaps. Like today when it's all she ate to 3. Then I brought home a packet of Soulistic chicken dinner in gravy... Holy moly...

    Raw eggs

So I've gotten my three girls onto mostly canned with dry out at night (which trends to make for a light breakfast, but they all nibble a little). We have homemade too that we offer, but as of yet, no one is thrilled. Except the dog who comes in for clean up. ;) My feral girl loves raw eggs...

    coconut oil

I'm so glad I came across this thread! I'm going to start giving some to girls today. I'm trying to entice them ALL to eat at the same time, maybe that'll work lol. On a side note, I wash my face nightly with coconut oil exclusively, and my complexion has never been better. I wish I'd known...

Thanks Folks! Katniss appreciates knowing what she is. :)

    First raw meal.....

I have to laugh... I don't dust, or avoid it, because I do have asthma and is a bit trigger for me. Just dust... Not my 3 cats, 1 dog, 5 chinchillas or 3 gerbils lol. And definitely not the tortoise or the fish. :)

    Dilute tortie?

no white at all, except maybe around the bottom of her feet.... Even that is more pink though.

    Dilute tortie?

This is our "new" kitty, Katniss. I say new bc she's been living in our porch for 14 months, but is now happily inside. The vets paperwork described her as a gray tiger, but I'm not going for it lol. She's most definitely gray on top, but has tortie colors underneath that. She has an orange...

    First raw meal.....

My cats actually do have all their own dishes, I just use our utensils for scooping their food. And it all goes into the dishwasher, but we don't have a sanitize setting unfortunately. I think the heated drying goes pretty far though. My husband does spray with bleach water after...

    Just water?

I wondered if low sodium was all right. I've found as low as 8%,but I was searching for no sodium.

    First raw meal.....

That's pretty much what we did in regards to the bleach, smelled like a pool in the kitchen lol. Two of the cats are used to 2 meals/day of canned and the other is a feral who's been in for about a month. Apparently she's not really missing the raw stuff. She ate a little without the mix in it...

    First raw meal.....

We just made the first (possibly last) of the raw food. We used chicken and tcfeline mix. One of 3 cats liked it. My husband is a toxicologist and is driving me crazy. How salmonella-y will the floor truly v be if one throws up the raw? He's s insisting we'll need to be constantly...
