Thanks! He is really great. I moved to a new city all by my self after growing up on a farm and then being only 45 minutes away in college, I knew I needed a pal. I'm glad I found a good boy and a good kitty.
Two Questions:
I'm traveling with my kitty soon on an airplane and got her a really great travel bag thats approved by my airline. I want to get a harness for her to wear incase of an emergency/for some reason I have to take her out. Theres so many options. i've heard about the vests, and that...
Her feeder is actually awesome and has a water-er attached to it! Stevie also asked grandma for a cat water fountain for Christmas. :] I've got two other bowls around the house too for water, and leave one (medium) dog-sized water bowl out as well.
I can't leave food out or she will eat it all at once and then barf it all up. The grazing method doesn't work for us. :] I'm a grad student, so I'm not home consistenly at the same time which is why I went with the feeder so she could have some schedule. She has pretty bad food anxiety, I think...
I just don't have a consistent enough schedule for wet food all day, but i do try to make sure she gets the mid day wet food. I'll look into Ziwipeak. She LOVES water, playing in it, and drinks a lot. I've had her kidneys checked and blood work done and she's healthy, so thats encouraging.
I adopted my cat about 2 months ago, and she was pretty underweight. She's gained a few pounds, and I have an automatic feeder that goes off at 7:30 am and pm, and then during lunch time she gets a little wet food snack (wellness).
She's currently eating science diet dry food, do you have any...
I have Stevie on dry food 2x a day 12 hrs apart with a wellness snack during lunch. She loves it, and i think its a good filler for whatever dry food doesn't have.
I try to play with her at least 15-20 minutes a day, with a lazer pointer or a wand toy, and bat around stuff with her. I'll be petting her when she bites usually. Sometimes it seems like it could be love bites, but sometimes she just bites. It is usually in my bed, and I take it as she doesn't...
Two weeks ago today, I brought home my first cat of my very own. I grew up on a farm and had plenty of cats before, from indoor to outdoor cats, of all ages.
I got Stevie (after Stevie Nicks) at the local ASPCA. The shelter said she was around 2, never bit, and was a sweet loving kitty. She was...
