When my cats had them the vet gave them one pill and it killed the worms right away. Be super careful though make sure you keep your hands clean. Especially after cleaning there box as they can transfer to you.

I have not gotten my older indoor cats vaccination  in years. I did start my 1 year old cats vaccinated when I first found him when he was a baby but never finished as he got sick. Me personally I don't believe in them unless they are in contact with other random animals or go outside. 

The other day I took my cat to the vet because he has been having problems with really bad breath and mouth swelling. Turns out his teeth are very bad and all need to be pulled :( The vet told me this is going to cost $2,000 seems a little high. When we found him 5 years ago with 2 broken legs...
