We did that and he was using it the only problem was the dirt had bugs and many things inside of it and he caught an eye infection and he also had worms. Once we took the dirt out. He used the litter twice then stopped using it completely
So far I have tried wood pellets and western family non clumping sand litter and my cat will pee or poop in it once or twice and stop using it once we clean the box. I've heard scary things about clumping litter such as the cat can get many health problems so we have been trying to stay away...
Hello :)
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am wondering why my new black cat looks quite different from my old black cat who was a domestic shorthair. My new black cat was a stray I found and I live in the suburbs so it's quite rare to see a stray cat. Most likely someone threw him...
I hope it will work the only worry is that I've heard cats can get a urinary tract infection from clumping litter so we have tried to stay away from it but I guess if he won't poop we will have to try it out
I've tried adding more litter boxes in different places and encouraging him to go in it...he's peed in all of them but rarely poops. He just wants to go outside to poop and recently he caught worms we had to deworm him so we are trying to not let him outside so much.
My cat was a stray and he likes to poop outside in the garden we brought new litter for him and he goes inside but only pees on it and leaves. He is not pooping.
So we have taken him to the vet to checkup and if he has a microchip or not. There is another issue...he is scared of being inside a house. We gave him space to smell everything but he constantly sleeps with one eye open and he is just always scared
Would he still be friendly after he is neutured D:. I mean there are times he will lie with his belly up and kneed the air....I was thinking if the clinginess would stop I might keep him.
