*****Please read beforehand. While I would to do raw diet from scratch, that isn't really possible. Right now, I'm trying to have my parents get our two girls off a kibble, and on to a pre-made raw, and that is already really difficult. (It also took a ton of convincing t to bring our cats to...
Ok, so our newest addition, Nika, has been harassing Jazzy. This is stressing her out extremely, as with me. (She is pooping outside the box.) I don't want to see this happen, and I just want to feel safe.
To keep it short, Nika has been chasing her, charing at her while she eats, & gets in...
So, we just added a new member to our family, which is another Siberiany
We've had our newcomer for a week and 2 day(9 days). She's been isolated to one room. We've fed them close to the door (1), played with them close to the door(1),& let jazzy go in the cats room(1) while we brought the...
I know you from somewhere else :)
I'm planning on to email the breeder. Just one question-What should I mention in the email? I don't want to say the wrong thing I'm scared to email her, ridiculous, I know.
I wish! I've always wanted to adopt. Unfortunately, my parents are allergic to cats,& siberians don't bother them that much.
This situation sucks. I feel like a horrible owner. I just feel terrible about getting the situation.
I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough, my fault.
Anyways, no they aren't from the same breeder. But, both have contracts about not declawing.
Yes, they purposely went against it, from what I remember. That was 5 years ago,& I had no knowledge on declawing. I do know.
Now, I know, even with...
I'll buy some scratching posts, before the kitten even comes. Thankfully the vet is extremely close to my house, so I can drive & have the cats claws clipped when need(if my parents would prefer that).
Do you think I should tell this breeder that my parents want to declaw the kitten?
I'm going to revive this thread because the litter has been born(yay!).
There is one thing that worries me, our current cat has no way of protecting herself from the new cat. Even though s/he will be much smaller than Jazzy.
I've tried to tell my dad it isn't a good idea. But, he doesn't...
So, our resident cat-Jazzy, is 5 years old. Unfortunately she has been declawed, because of parents not wanting her to ruin the furniture :argh:They will be the same breed, siberians. The kitten will be 12 weeks of age when s/he comes home.
What worries me is that our current cat has no claws,&...
She was 11 & half pounds before.
Currently we don't feed any wet. Just dry.
We just added the 2 new formulas, the Salmon Tunachovy,& Beef Liváttini Veg. So were now rotating all Fromm Four Star grain free recipes.
No other factors beside food was changed.
Previously Jazzy was on Wellness Core, we had to switch her to a different food because she wasn't doing well with it. She is now on Fromm Four-Star(Game bird, & Surf & Turf). The food wasn't for weight loss, but it the food was seemed to really help...
