    SoCal residents...please help!

Hi, everybody. I'm writing this with a heavy heart. Very recently, my fiancé has had to move and unfortunately can't take our cats to his new place and I can't house them where I'm living. Is there anyone in SoCal or does anyone know anyone in SoCal that would kindly foster two adult cats...

Freeing a caged, white Bengal tiger?

Hi, Does anyone know anything about releasing a cage enclosed endangered tiger to the Wildcat Sanctuary? Poor Lily was purchased from a breeder by owners of a "zoological garden" in CA...and is now caged up what seems to be 24/7. I feel so sad for the girl and would love to see her live a...

First time finding stray litter in backyard...HELP!

We had a failed attempt at trapping mom so that we could get her fixed...she got in, the gate closed, and then she managed to get out somehow. Going to try again, but I'm sure she's scared and her trust level just went down a few. :/

First time finding stray litter in backyard...HELP!

Also, kittens are not going to be easy to tame/domesticate since they were hissing when my fiancé tried to get them earlier. ):

First time finding stray litter in backyard...HELP!

Mini update- So, mom and kittens are roaming around a bit more. Mom is apparently still breastfeeding her babies even though they look pretty big to me. They do eat the soft food that we put out. Is it okay to get kittens while mom is still around? Like, I don't want to take kittens and then...

First time finding stray litter in backyard...HELP!

Thank you for the tips, kacey and StefanZ! So the kittens might actually be a little older than I assumed, probably 4-5 weeks. Mom is becoming more calm when we give them food. Oh, the weird thing is I saw dad eating and then on the other side of the fence saw dad's brother? They looked exactly...

First time finding stray litter in backyard...HELP!

Hi all...so, kitten season is a real thing and it's been happening right under our noses! Today, my fiancé and I found a stray litter with their obviously protective mother in his backyard behind a very bushy, bush. We found out because his dog was eyeing something in that corner and she...

Noticed discoloration near my cat's eyes/head/belly

catwoman707, So, I tend to think about the worst every time something seems off. Turns out, it was just something she got into (possibly flowers). The yellow is wearing off and she's still active and eating/using the litter box. All is well. Thank you for your concern.

Noticed discoloration near my cat's eyes/head/belly

Hi everyone, I am wondering if someone can help me out with what I discovered not too long ago.  As I was on my computer, my Siamese walked by and I noticed a bit of yellow around her eyes. I wasn't sure since my light has a yellow tint, but upon further inspection...her eye area, top of head...

    Breathing fast due to stress?

Hi all. So, my Siamese has been at my boyfriend's house since we got her about a year ago. Recently, his family hasn't had the time to take care of the many pets at his house and so I offered to take her to my house today. It is hot here where I live and it was about a 40 minute car ride. I...

    Is my cat okay?

Thank you for your responses. Today, I took Miballs to the vet and I have made the heartbreaking decision to have him PTS. The vet said he might have a tumor developing near or on his spine and the root of the cause might be the leukemia. I brought him home today just so my family can say one...

When is it ever the right time?

Hello fellow cat lovers. My cat, Miballs, is not doing well and I don't want to say this but I'm giving up on hope that he will get better. There are other threads about his condition (which is unknown to 3 vets) and I just don't have the money to fork out for expensive tests/treatment/MRIs. I...

Oh, he's losing weight fast. His lower back is all skinny now and looks sort of elongated...but idk if that's just cause it's skinny. He's not eating as much, but is drinking lots of water.

    I wish I understand cat talk...PLEASE HELP.

Hi all, I cannot believe I didn't post something on here about his last vet visit. So sorry about that. Well, here's a quick recap...the third vet doesn't know what's going on either. Though he sort of ruled out physical trauma so it COULD be his FeLV or so,etching from within. He's on steroid...
