No, we walked into the bedroom once and saw one of the kittens eating it. We have given the Mother soft food (as a treat) and the kittens sniff around, but she devours it all before they can even see it.

We have a litter of kittens, and about 1-2 of them try to eat their mothers dry food. The mom does feed them/care for them/etc, they're not neglected, but they try to roam over there and nom a little bit on her food, is that ok?

All the sides are shut, it's the top that's open... we can/are going to try to put another box ontop so it's concealed then just have a way for the mother to get out. Thanks, we'll update after we try this.

we don't really have a useable closest at the moment. We moved the box by our bed, where she was moving the kittens, took a nap, woke up, she had moved 2 of them under our table (small one, where I have my docking station for my iPod) So obviously she's still moving them...not sure what to do.

Also, she's been trying to move the newborn kittens under the dresser 1 by 1, we had to block the dresser off since it's difficult to get them out. We don't know what it could be, we did double the size of her box, but it didn't seem to do much.

The father is in the house (and being very annoying) he's getting fixed in 2 weeks...hard to get appointments. We have another cat, but she never sees him and she's always in the bedroom. We've given her multiple options, but she would always take the babies away and go back to the corner.
