I agree with the people above. The best and most effective way to solve this problem is to transition your cat into an inside one. This will keep the snakes out and ultimately keep your kitty much safer.
As was said above, you may need to just teach her how to play. After awhile he will learn to nibble on other things and will hopefully leave your hand alone. Something you may also look into is to see if he is hungry or not because his nibbling could potentially be a sign of that.

It is good that you have everything figured out now. One last piece of advice that I would have would be to try and arrange things similar to how you had them in your last home. Then Lucas and the rest of your kittens will have an easier time adjusting to everything. Cheers!
