I found the ingredients of the food we got from the vet, what do you guys think? This stuff is extremely expensive! 26 euros for 2 kg. I want to order taste of the wild from that site you guys mentioned but it says they are out of stock until November :(

Awesome will definately look there. Thanks so much :)
Thanks Jenny you have been a huge help. As far as allergy testing, wouldn't it be just as effective (to find out whether or not shes allergic to grain) to feed her a bag of grain-free food and see if her symptoms improve? I will ask my...
Hey I was looking for a grain-free food for my cat who has problems with her eyes and cat acne (see my other thread about it). Problem is I live in France and no one in the pet store has ever heard of grain-free pet food. They said to try the vet. The vet has never heard of it either and said...
I took her off the lysine because it didn't help and she hates it. I've already gone the medication rout. Nothing works. I was going to try her on a grain-free food to see if that helps but there is no such thing as grain-free pet in France. Niether the pet store or the vet have even heard...
The teaspoons aren't used for tea :) teaspoon is just a word used to describe a certain size that comes in a set of measuring "spoons". Sometimes its not even in the form of a spoon. I am going to pm you now as there are a few "normal" things that I can't find, thanks :)
Thanks Feralvr. This is our 3rd day on peroxide, with one cleaning per day. It seems to be working. The acne is already cleared from the ear area. The mouth area is taking a bit longer but improving. The eyes are still weeping and crusting but shes not squinting anymore.
My cat is a real sweetie with our family but hates strangers, she hisses at anyone that comes into our home. Last July we flew for 10 hours nonstop from Washington state to France. She was about the same age as your kitty. I was so worried she would be crying the whole time but she wound up...
I was wondering about that. We will be moving into a house with a fenced yard in April and I have been looking forward to finding out if being outside sometimes will improve the health of my kitty.
I know personally a cat that had very bad herpes for about the first year of his life, he was constantly sneezing blood all over everything. He has been symptom-free for about 5 years now with no lysine ever.
I have tubes of terramycin, would that be as affective?
eta: He found some peroxide, over a euro for a tiny little bottle! equal maybe to 1/4 of a cup. Some random things are so much more expensive here vs. U.S.! Oh, and you can only get peroxide here at the pharmacy, they keep it behind...
Thanks for the tip, I think I will give peroxide a try, I think its a little less harsh, and I have to clean her entire face, not just her chin. I really dont think her dishes are the culprit, because it is all around her ears too, and also her dishes are wide and shallow so I don't think...
Thanks :) I actually had already treated with her l-lysine for a while and it didnt help at all, but I wasn't dosing it, I was just sprinkling it on her food so maybe I wasnt giving her enough. I've started it up again today with the recommended dosing I found online. As for colloidal silver...
