    How much wet?

Thank you all! Sharky - Here are the two wet foods that she is eating now; can you look and tell me if they are good or not. 1- Pro Plan Selects Turkey & Wild Rice : Turkey, poultry broth, liver, fish, wild rice, oat meal, egg product, guar gum, spinach, sweet potatoes, blueberry pomace...

    How much wet?

I'm switching Mollie over to an all wet diet - so far the addition of wet has been amazing. She has had GI issues, and since she started eating wet she's had no issues (no loose stools or vomiting - yay!). I do have a few questions though 1- How much wet should a 10lb. female cat eat? I've...

    Too many hairballs?

Thank you for the replies!!! Mollie is eating Nutro Natural Choice Adult (dry only). Sharky - I posted in the Nutrition forum about possibly switching her over to Wellness Indoor. She is my first cat, so I was unsure about what is "normal" for cat's when it comes to hairballs. I'll call our vet...

    Too many hairballs?

Hairballs...how many are too many? Mollie seems to be coughing up quite a few lately, roughly two to three a week (give or take). She's a DMH - resembles a Ragdoll mix and has that type of hair. Do you have any good advice to combat hairballs? Thanks all!!!!

    vacationing

We're planning our first vacation during Thanksgiving since we've had Mollie. We have two options for her while we're gone: 1- She goes to my mothers house with our small dog. She's never been away from home, but she knows my mom and she'll have our dog with her. 2- She stays home by herself...

    Chewing

Thank you all!!! Her behavior is not constant, which is why I don't think that pica is involved, but it is frustrating to come home and discover something in your house destroyed I feel 100% confident that it's not our dog that has done the chewing. Mollie jumps up on tables and will chew on...

    Chewing

Yes, she is naughty but we love her She's not aggressive at all, which is good, but she is destructive. I'm just not sure if this is a kitten phase still or something else. She has destroyed some of my chair molding (we have an open floor plan where rooms will go into other rooms and there is...

How about a blue eye thread?

Mimosa - Your cats are gorgeous! Thank you for posting that information about eye color...it was really interesting to read! We adopted Mollie from our local HS but if I was to ever buy a cat, it would be a Birman! I love this thread!!! All of these kitties are beautiful

Thinking of switching to Wellness Indoor

Thank you again Sharky! This really helps me! If I stick with the Natural Choice, would you recommend adding wet into her diet in lieu of mixing with a higher quality dry? If so, any suggestions of a wet that works well for sensitive tummies?

    Chewing

Hi all! Mollie is eighteen months old and still chewing everything in sight...mainly wood, but boxes, toys and mommy's fingers do as well Is this "normal" behavior? I've occasionally thought of pica but she doesn't ingest, rather simply chews. I don't think she's bored. I'm home most of the...

How about a blue eye thread?

Here's two more of Mollie She's eighteen months now and her coat has been steadily changing into a beautiful light ginger color (she was almost completely white as a kitten). I'm guessing that she will continue to darken as she ages. One interesting thing about her is that she didn't inherit...

Thinking of switching to Wellness Indoor

Thanks Sharky! No need for Eukanuba - I have tried my best to avoid both that and SD like the plague...even though my vet was unhappy with that choice If I stick with Nutro, do you think Wellness Complete or Core would be a good add-in?

Thinking of switching to Wellness Indoor

Thank you for the help! Yes Sharky, I would love it if you would color code the ingredients. Based on the addition of wheat to the Natural line, do you like Max better? She has done well for the most part with Nutro, I just know that it is not the best (nor the worst for that matter) of cat...

Thinking of switching to Wellness Indoor

Hi all!!! I am considering switching my medium haired, female cat (approximately 18 months) over to Wellness Complete Health Indoor. Mollie has had food issues since I got her from the HS when she was 8ks. old. I switched her from Pro Plan Kitten to Blue Buffalo Kitten and for the following...
