I know how hard it is when you lose a much loved pet, I wrote this poem quite a few years ago. I was written after the loss of one of my dogs, I also have cats. Rainbow's End can refer to any pet. Hope you all like it.

You are so right about how some vets overcharge, I was with one practice for about 20 years and left because of a dispute with them, I changed to a differnt practice a few years ago and it was the best move I have ever made, they treat my pets as though they were their own, they don't charge...

Have you tried setting a dummy cat in the area where the food is set down although the only problem with that is that it might put the ferals off from coming close enough to see it is not a real cat. Or hammer sticks into the ground and tie string to them as though putting a net above the food...
