My kitties are good "helpers" too. They help me read, they help me do crosswords, they help my type on the computer ... LOL
And by "help" I mean plop down right in the middle of what I'm trying to do!!
Please do post a link to the Billy's blog!
The third eyelid can pop up for various reasons like several people have mentioned. My cats will often have them up when sleeping, they keep their main eyelids "cracked" open with the third eyelid across -- kinda creepy-looking! Eye/nose infections and allergies can also cause it to be...
Mounting behavior is generally a dominance thing, and it does occur in males and females. (Cats have really thick skin on the backs of their necks.) Definitely something that should decrease in severity/frequency over time.
The boys typically bounce back as if nothing happened. I'm sure any males on the message boards might feel differently, but my boys don't get any pain meds post-neuter.
As far as skin sutures, it's unlikely he'll have any. Some vets close the incisions with skin glue, and some just leave them...
Kittens are fairly resilliant when it comes to nutrition. Yes, there is kitten food and adult foot, and "suitable for all life stages" food. In nature, cats and kittens all eat the same diet (mice, other small rodents, bugs, etc.). You could always switch to feeding everyone kitten food--with...
Will Molly use the other litter boxes as long as they're up to her cleanliness standards? With two cats, I would think that if you scooped once a day, they'd both have to work pretty hard to really soil up three boxes between cleanings. And, since it looks like they've been sharing a box (or...
Within an hour of applying Revolution, a cat with fleas will get all "extra itchy" and you'll see dying/dead fleas around where they've been laying. If you still haven't seen any, I'd say you're more or less home free as far as getting rid of any fleas is concerned.
Definitely dose with the Revolution (I love that stuff). If there are any fleas on him they'll die and fall off (you'll see them, don't worry - a dead flea is a good flea!).
As was mentioned before, you can run a flea comb through his hair and tap it over a white surface (paper tower...

This website seems to be a good starting point to answer some of your questions.
I flew with a cat once in her carrier in the cabin with me as my "carry on," but have never sent one as cargo.
I moved from Ohio to Louisiana with my cat in...
Boomerang Pet Tags makes great tags. The slide-on ones are pretty slick. Now granted, they're not the least expensive tags, but they seem to be of excellent quality. I have plastic hang tags for all my cats with "If I'm outside I'm lost" on one side and my name and phone number on the other...
I like using flat saucer-type dishes with no real raised edge. But then again my cats all inhale their food and don't leave it sit long enough to play with it or push it around!!
When we lived in a carpeted apartment I trimmed my cats' claws fairly frequently (or else they'd start to get stuck in the carpet--poor cats!). Now that we have hardwood floors, I must admit I'm more lazy about trimming them than I should be.
As long as your cats have normal claws they don't...
