Denice,
Ed, was attacked by either a dog or a coyote. I went over him w/ a flashlight when he got home from the vet and found no wounds there.
Pushylady,
Yes, long acting.
Imacatexpert,
Ed tells me he is not in pain. This by his actions as I have not yet mastered the language. He was...
Thanks for the reply.
The sites look wet due to ointment on them. They have drained only a drop or two. If they are abscesses, should not the antibiotics have made them improve?

A few weeks ago my neutered tom, Ed, was attacked by either a dog or a coyote and beat up pretty badly. He was able to somehow get home using only his front legs. I was pretty sure he was a goner. I am homebound but was able to find a vet who was willing to come and pick him up. He was at the...
Ah, "my" vet...
I took the first cat to act up to the only vet in town, several years before all this started, to be spayed. He was too busy to meet me.I spent almost $200 for spay and vaccinate. When I went to pick her up, he was too busy to meet me. About a year later, I ran over her foot...
WCL,
Re: hormones. Small, but finite, possibility. Cat that is upset now, was not the other time. Being in the house at all times, very little escapes my observation. I may have to resort to trap when kittens are old enough to separate from mom. Better than darting I guess.

Hi WCL,
1. It's the spayed cats that are upset.
2. There is nothing I would rather do than get her spayed but she freaks out when I try to put her in a taxi. Being in a wheelchair, I do not have the ability to struggle with her. And no, there is no help currently available. These are my...
Hi,
I've seen some behavior that I would like to understand. I had two adult female cats (litter mates) in the house getting along fine. One spayed, one intact. When the intact female got pregnant, her sister started growling incessantly. She moved out of the house after only 2 - 3 days and has...
Hi WCL,
#1. No but they do not seem to return to the same spot on the bed each time. Rather, they usually choose a spot near where I'm sleeping. (Small person, large bed.)
#2. Litter box is in the bathroom about 10 feet from the bed.
#3. They do use the litter box with no problems EXCEPT when...
I am living with two adult cats and two 14 week old kittens. All use the litter box consistently but the kittens also urinate in our bed almost every night and only when I am in it. This has been happening for several weeks. Because I am in a wheelchair, it is impossible for me to exclude them...
I'm looking for flea control meds for my cat (and the neighbors 3). Because of a disability, I have limited dexterity and believe drops on the back may be easiest to dose with. My vet recommends Revolution but it is very pricey from him. I see a wide range of prices online with and without a Rx...
