    Signs of dementia?

My 11yr old male seems to have developed dementia. He's been through a lot over the past year (overweight, diabetes, cat flu, loss of appetite, told no longer diabetic, possible arthritis). We had him at the vet yesterday and they did blood work but all came back negative. She did suggest he...

Aggressive toward other cat and at feeding time

We have three rescue cats; Alfie, age 5(almost 6), Noddy, age 4 1/2 and Crystal, age 1 1/2. They are house cats and never go outside (although Noddy escaped once, but that's another story!) Alfie and Noddy were gotten together nearly 4 years ago. Alfie's previous owners had adopted him from...

My one cat who is 2 1/2 yrs. old, has recently started to bring up hair balls, but when they come up, instead of him throwing up and getting rid of it, he ends up swallowing it back. Without having to take him to the vet (I just had them there last month for their shots) is there something I...

    What does this mean?

We've just recently adopted two cats and on their info cards, their breed is indicated as 'DSH' Can someone tell me what this abbreviation means? They are both rescue cats and are both white and ginger in coloring. Thanks!

What's in these that makes them bad?

I live in the UK and we've just adopted two male cats. One of the basic pamphlets we received indicates not to overfeed them biscuits as it could damage their kidneys. Before I had read that, I had bought a small bag of catnip biscuits, which are meant to be a treat. They don't seem to want...
