OK, read most of the posts and you all go on about weight... Weight is NOT the big issue, its BMI mostly.
I am 270lbs and i am clinically obese according to the medical charts.
I was a 44" waist in Dec 2007 , by May 2008 i was down to 36" waist but i had put on over 20lb.
Cut out starchy...
I must admit your right 'NG' it does come across like they are a trophy and YES i'm saddened to see that so many are house bound.
Yeh its my view, its a strong view and i'm just showing it whilst facing a mob, please excuse me for defending myself.
Calico2222 , great post , have you got room for a lodger
Puddles is never thrown out , the door is open and he can please himself. He spends every night curled up right next to me on my bed, he greets me when i come back from the gym as he hears my Land Rover pulling up.
Northern glow "If you...
I didn't say it would be enough .... where did i say that?
What i was saying was that IF he only managed that length then i could be reassured it was a fun filled '5'.
He has a routine , has had since he was young, he mooches in the rear gardens and comes back either when he is ready or when i...
WOW!!!!
I genuinely feel for you, i have been there in 2007 when i lost my 'POPPY' aged 11 months. , its taken a lonnnng time to accept and i still can't talk about her face to face with people.

I will stand by my decission to let him out, he paws the door to go out, moans at me......clearly its something HE wants to do and i'm not going to treat him like an ornament adorning my window cill.
A domesticated cat is merely a slightly tamed version of a natural predator, anyone who...
I'm going to disagree with most i have read regarding keeping them in. OK, here in the UK we don't have the same number of predators but cats are outdoor critters by nature, they love to hunt, climb, hide, explore etc.
'Puddles' loves to go out every morning for a couple of hours in the sun ...
Just a quick update on my little man 'PUDDLES' all the way from wet and windy Manchester UK.
Puddles is 2yrs 8 months now and is a real character. He spends many hours playing out and bringing mice home and the odd bird.
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Lee,
Nothing 'I' can say will ease things, although, i felt 'I' was the only cat mad guy on this forum LOL.
When I lost 'Poppy' a year ago my experience was similar. I almost sat and watched her fade out, my big regret was going to bed for an hour that night, she was gone when i...
Thank you so much for your kind words......nothing could ever take the place of 'Pops' but my 'Puddles' gives me laughs if not the tactile affection 'Pops' gave.
Here's a new pic of 'Puddles' LOL
Its a year to the day that I lost my little girl to renal failure aged around 10 months. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...t=poppys+story
Miss ya 'Pops'
I lost my little girl 'POPPY' in April 07 aged 10 months, she wrecked my life when she crossed that bridge.
At the turn of midnight on New Year i set off a big rocket firework with 'Poppy's name on from dad.
Gone but never forgotten.
RIP little girl
