    best urine odor remover

I've never found anything better than Simple Solution, it smells wonderful! I believe biological washing powder is meant to do the job well, but have never tried it myself.

    Meowing...

It could be that she feels a little bit insecure after the travelling. Cats are very territorial and rarely enjoy travelling in the way that dogs do. I would give her plenty of attention and if she's still doing in in a week or so, take her for a check up at the vets (one of my cats once...

China loves people more than cats!

One of my cats, China, doesn't 'associate' herself much with the other cats, and if they get too close they get a good right hook across the face! Her history is this: I rescued her from some people who no longer wanted her - she was 9 weeks old and they had had her for 5 weeks - which means...

Trying to avoid killing my cat with bad food

There's a wet food called Nature's Menu available here in the UK, but not sure if it's available in the US. My cats love it.

    Kitten food / Adult food

When my crew were kittens they had Royal Canin kitten food, although they did steal adult food from the older cats too. I think as long as the food is really good quality, it's ok to put them on to adult food at around 8-9 months.

    Silent Miaows

So, does anyone have any silent miaowers? My Foxy (big, ginger, fluffy and beautiful) does an almost silent miaow. It's sort of a whispered miaow.

'Cheap' Food is expensive in the long run

I am currently not in the best of health and am unable to work, so a few weeks ago I decided to buy cheaper food for my cats. Imagine my distress though, as my cats have all lost weight and one of them, my beloved Lemur, developed cystitis, resulting in a trip to the vet and considerable...

    Reason To Never Declaw!

I love in the UK and declawing is banned over here I am pleased to say. I would never consider mutilating a much loved cat in this way. Cats can be trained to use scratching posts, and anyway, my cats are much more precious to me than my furniture!

Hell0 - Me and My Cats!

Hello, I am fairly new here, so thought I would post some pics of me and my cats: Firstly Katie, she's the senior cat at 7 years old: Next Lemur, she's the 'baby' at 4 years old, with her friend Holly Dog: Lemur (again): Mr Wissy, another of the 'kittens' at 4 years old! China (hence my...

    Rusting

My Wissy is a long haired black cat, and much of his fur has gone rusty. He's pretty much an indoor boy too (well 90% of the time).

    Cat Bonding with Dog

I have five cats, all of whom get on well together, BUT my fluffy ginger girl Foxy has developed a really strong bond with my little Chihuahua cross dog Holly. They are always together ... Foxy washes Holly all the time - especially those hard to reach places (top of her head being favourite)...
