Do you stress leaving your cats at home alone?

Thanks for putting a name to my disease Fire is another concern but if everything is turned off that is a very remote chance - break in is my biggest concern. We may need an OCSD anonymous group

Do you stress leaving your cats at home alone?

I try to tell myself that! I figure if Im worrying or not it will be the same outcome. Doesn't seem to change it though! I guess I am just going mental. Im not worried about what the cats do while there's no one home, its what might happen to them. Basically if someone breaks in, the cats...

Do you stress leaving your cats at home alone?

Im a stress head - let's get that straight now. But I want to know if you think I'm just being outright paranoid and unreasonable. Up until a few months ago I was living with my mother and siblings and as such when I went out there was usually someone home. Now if we want to go out, there's no...

Does anyone else have a special room thats just for cats?

Yep.. mine aren't allowed in the 'human' part of the house because my OH is allergic. Sad but true. So we've spent $5000 build a room downstairs for them that leads to an outdoor enclosure. The room is an ultimate cat room, with a bonus sofa bed for me to sleep down there with them!

    Prednisolone & Diabetes

Im not using them at all anymore, its not worth the risk. I use Frontline Plus or other similar flea treatments and Im treating her every 3 weeks rather than 4 but she still gets sores especially around base of tail. Yet I have never seen a flea but i know it only takes one. Who knows if she is...

    Prednisolone & Diabetes

My cat was prescriped prednisolone tablets a few months ago for flea allergy dermatitis. I was told to give her just the one dose, but i can use the tablets sparingly if she flares up again. She does flare up often and I was giving her the tablets randomly. I.e one week she had a tablet 3 or 4...

    Sudden sneezing

One of my cats has today started sneezing alot. Its only midday and there's been over 20 sneezes so far today. I've never heard her sneeze ever before. My other cat is not at all sick and never sneezes. What would cause this sudden onset of sneezes? She is displaying no other flu like symptoms...

New cat not drinking or pee'ing

She loves to be petted, she has the loudest purr I've ever heard in a cat. Doesn't liked being picked up at all. At least we are making some slow progress here

New cat not drinking or pee'ing

I got a new cat over 24 hours ago. She is an adoptee from a shelter. Always a very shy cat, but even more so since arriving at my place. She does nothing but sit in her bed all day. She has come out once or twice to eat a little bit. She has not had a drink since she has been here, over 24...

    Roof of mouth colour?

He is black and vet visit is booked for next week. He has been drinking tons of water the past few weeks, Im rather worried as he is a tad overweight, I hope its not kidney problems or something. He's only 1.5 years old. I'll let you know how it goes, thanks all

    Roof of mouth colour?

Ok great I just had not noticed before so was wondering if it was something that had popped up between the last vet visit and now. Im sure its nothing though!

    Roof of mouth colour?

Bit of both really! He is slightly overweight and for the past few weeks has been drinking alot more than usual. I think a vet visit is in order to have a urine test and check his mouth out..

    Roof of mouth colour?

Its hard for me to see well as he is not one to let you get too close for inspections, but there are dark patches in the roof of the mouth, the rest is pink. The dark part is in the center rear of the mouth.
