I would never declaw an adult cat. That’s not an option. Many have had luck with them, so I will keep them clipped and try the covers.

My only concern is our 92 year old mom. She has such thin skin that she can’t afford a cat scratch.

Do you use prescription food or over the counter? Did your vet give your cat meds? And how many times do you have to give your cat fluids at home? I guess I’ll find out those answers today when I speak with the local vet, after he’s done at the hospital.
