I got my female fixed Monday (a week ago). A few days ago I checked her stitches to make sure they werent infected and they were fine. Now today I looked and saw all along under her stitches is a huge, huge lump. Maybe about the size of my thumb, and it seems pretty hard. I dont know what it is...
I posted before about my new kitten sucking on my male cat, Benji. (He still does by the way haha). The 2 of them seem to be pretty close to each other already. Just recently Benji has tried to (maybe?) pick up the kitten by his neck? (Like a mother would do?) He just chomps at his neck, but not...
I've had 2 cats. And we've just recently found 2 more kitten strays over the past 2 weeks. So I've had them for about 2-3 weeks, and just now one of them is trying to nurse on one of my male cats I've had. We brought the kittens to the vet, and they didnt say anything about them being young. (I...
I was going to ask the same thing
The only thing I was wondering is if the water gets too cold, would it hurt their teeth? But I figured if its hot enough for ice, that it will melt quickly.
Although my cats dont seem to even notice the ice to play with it, like everyone elses cat does :P
Hi everyone. I've used frontline for my cats' fleas, and this time I got advantage instead. What is the difference? Is one better than the other? Does one do things that the other doesnt? Is one riskier? Thanks
Well my main question was that because my cat's mother was allergic to plastic, could it just probably be he also is allergic to plastic, instead of the food? Because the food is sooo expensive. I've taken away the bowls and the food and hes getting better so I dont really know which its from...
Hi. Just recently (past couple months) my cat was scratching really badly. I brought him to the vet. The vet said that he probably has a food allergy. Which could very well be the case. It doesnt matter anyways because I put him on the diet.
My question is, I know cats can be allergic to...
Sometimes when Johnny drinks, he kinda scratches/knits at the water bowl WHILE drinking. Either on carpet, plastic or floor. Its not a problem for me, but I've always wondered just why he does it?
Johnny doesnt cover it either. He never has, and hes 6 years old! He usually stands in there for a little bit scratching at the walls around him, like he doesnt want to get his paws dirty, and then leaves. Luckily benji goes in after and covers it for him. Its almost like Benji doesnt want to...
Benji looves the white garbage bags. Especially the handles. He also licks clear plastic wrappers to junk food, mini blinds and sometimes just regular plastic bags. I have no idea why though.
Hi my cat has been licking off his fur for a while now. Does anyone have any idea why he's doing this? Is it boredom, or is he sick, or something else?
His whole under tummy is licked off, his back near the top of his tail is licked off, his back legs are all licked off, and his front arms are...
For one, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but the others seemed to fit even less. Anyways..
I've heard that you can see cat urine under a black light. Is this true? And if it's true do you need a special black light, or will any one work?
Thanks!
Awesome, you've pretty much answered all my questions. I just wanted to know how bad OTC worm meds were. I had a feeling they werent decent. I'm making an appt tomorrow. Thanks
Yeah, I did frontline last month, and I have some for this month. I was going to give both my cats bath, but I only ended up giving one of them a bath. And I was going to frontline them after the baths. Should I wait until the worms are gone until I frontline, or do it now?
Theyre the small rice looking worms. (Very gross.)
And none of the cats have fleas anymore. But they ALL did before. I just figured if both my cats got worms from the fleas, chances are my sisters cat did too.
My cat has the same problem. But he's licking the fur off near the bottom of his tail too. And he scratches a lot everywhere. Only his neck spots blood though.
I thought maybe he needed a bath, either being dirty or dry skin. He doesnt itch AS MUCH, but he still does a little. I cant tell if...
Hi. Yet another question.
My cats definitely have worms. I see them..you know. Around their bottoms. Anyways, I want to bring them to the vet. Funds REALLY dont allow that right now. So I was told they may have something I can give them that I can buy from walmart, or a store like that.
Is...
