Hi there,
I have three cats. Two 3 year old females and one approx. 8-9 month old male kitten. The two females we've had together since they were babies and grew up together. The boy on the other hand is the new addition, and is the troublesome one. He's a high energy, go go go kind of kitten...
@geoffrey Lucipurr is not underweight she right now is at a good healthy weight. We got her and Hufflepuff about a month a part and they've grown up together but Huffle always seemed to fall behind in weight. She's larger than Luci body structure wise but Luci is still heavier.
We may just have...
Catmom Marcia,
She's been vet checked and deemed 100% healthy. She was always at the vet not that long ago for her seizures which are now gone. She had a reaction to a food with green tea extract that caused it. Switched foods and hasn't happened since.
I could try to inchrease her to three cans a day rather than the two. I do watch all of them eat to ensure she eats. She's very submissive and if one of the others Finnish before her and try to take her food she'll walk away. So I do keep an eye on them.
Thank you for the info and article,I'll...
Hi there, your situation sounds somewhat similar in a way but I do not know her parents. I was thinking she does have Mainecoon in her or NFO, leaning more towards NFO with her head shape and characteristics and all. I'm hoping she's still growing.
I don't think that the diet would be the...
Hello there,
Wasn't sure if I should post this in health or nutrition..
But I've been noticing one of my 3 cats is a lot skinnier/bonier than the rest. We have two females, both 3 years old and adopted a month apart from each other. The one, Lucipurr came to us a little younger than we'd like...
Not yet we just noticed tonight this might be a common issue with her than we initially realized. Hoping someone on here had similar troubles or advice before we get her in.
Hi there,
My female kitty, Lucipurr, is having a small but someowhat annoying issue with small leaks of urine. It's nothing drastic at all, there's no puddles or discoloration of urine. She's not obese and is overall healthy. She pees normally and all she just leaks.
I notice that this only...
He always finnishes it all, and makes his rounds to the other cat's empty bowls to ensure there's no crumbs. Lol
The only thing we're really struggling with is disciplining him.
I feel silly, I can't believe that never crossed my mind. I give him what our two adults get, which is 2 cans of fancy feast chicken pate daily. The cans are 3oz each so he gets a total of 6oz. Should I be giving him 3 3oz cans instead of the two?
Foaming at the mouth can be several things.
Be sure he can't get in Contact with any toxic chemicals, as this can cause him to drool and foam at the mouth.
Things like:
-dental issues
-anxiety attacks
-licking or tasting something bitter/ foul tasting
Can cause foaming at the mouth.

An alternative to the medicine would be something like feliway. A vet can prescribe it, or you can pick it up at somewhere like Petco. It's released calming pheromones to reduce anxiety in stressful environments. I'd also take her to the vet to be 100% sure it's not something else. Food and flea...
