how long before one may see any improvement with cat's GI issue when using S. boullardi? I started this about 3 days ago, 1/2 cap in morning food, other 1/2 in evening wet food. thanks for any suggestions.
it's been going on for 2 to 3 months now that my cat has "pudding" poop. All started after an antibiotic for UTI infection. After many xrays, ultrasound and echocardiogram with vet, she has an enlarged heart slightly. Vet doesn't want to treat the diarrhea as they're telling me it could...
My vet said to give a pinch of s.boullardi mixed in my cat's food as she has had very pudding like poop ever since she had an antibiotic for a UTI and that's been over 8 weeks ago. Vet gave Flagyl and it did nothing other than almost made it worse. Isn't Flagyl a form of an antibiotic...
thank you for that advice. I did buy Fortiflora and used it a few days but nothing seemed to change; I do have Proviable which I had given my dog in the past.
My cat had a UTI; took antibiotics and since then has very soft poop, pudding consistency. Vet gave Flagyl. This has done nothing. She has hearty appetite and overall acts normal. What could be causing this or what could help. Fecal sample taken to vet and she is free of any parasites etc.
