> Second ingredient is meat or fish.
I don't think it is that. Because there is also a wet food called Ciao (also from Inaba) containing chunks of meat/fish. Sometimes my cats lick away the lickable part and leave behind the chunks. I guess the liquid has a "secret" incredient which they hide...
I wonder why most cats like Ciao Churu so much. What is the ingredient which makes that so?
Even the most feral cats gulp it down if they get it.
Last year, a cat from my colony lost her friend in a car accident. She then didn't want to eat anything for weeks.
Only with the help of CiaoChuru...
@Norachan
Thank you for your answer. There is nothing in it, they eye is already gone. The bleeding is by far not so strong as in your picture shown. I just realize when wiping the fluids away that it looks a little bit reddish. Of course, I will talk with the vet. I just want to prepare the...
We have a blind cat which only has one eye. Our vet says she doesn't see on it. I am not sure if the vet is 100% correct. I think she might have be able to distinguish between dark and not dark. Anyway, it is about the missing eye.
When our cat was a kitten, the vet said, we let it as it is...
Thanks for the offer and the hint with the 動物愛護センター. There is one nearby, in Tomisato (Chiba). They have a mail service, so I might want to contact them regarding the increasing number at the Narita station. This is due to the free-roaming tomcat of a nearby restaurant.
I am not sure if I...
I went to see a doctor by bicycle today - I like cycling, even if I have go a long way.
I passed a plastic bag and thought I heard a bird. 10-20 meters later, I thought "no, that was no bird". I turned around and investigated.
In the plastic bag was a kitten, apparently thrown away - like trash...
I am very happy how this developed. Now you have more cats than me. I guess I need to find some more. Hahaha!
I hope you will find some good homes for them.
Has your son already decided which one he wants to keep?
I read that article but it didn't help. Lisa was already hissing when she entered the room where the returning cat was placed. It is clear that this situation is even more difficult for a blind cat than for a seeing cat..
Big, big relief. No more hissing.
Please put this information into that...
We have a blind cat, Lisa. When we have to bring one of the other cats to the vet and return with them, Lisa is hissing like a snake - always - for at least 2 days.
Until today. I think I found an easy solution.
We had a small checkup necessary for one of our young cats, Tom. So, I just packed...
Just a photo showing the growing up of our two newcomers (now 7 months old, Lisa is 1 year older) from the day we got them until today. And a photo of the three in question (Tom, Lisa, Cherie). If anyone needs an idea how fast kittens gain wait, this is an example of mixed breeds.
Interesting is...
Update: Yesterday Lisa (the blind cat) was still hissing when they were in the same room. Now the strange smells (from the vet) are slowly wearing off and yesterday evening, Lisa seemed to remember them. Today, it has drastically improved, as you can see below.
From top to down: Felix 14 years...
Our blind cat had adopted two kittens. They are adult now and yesterday, they were at the vets for spaying/neutering.
After they returned, the blind cat doesn't recognize them anymore and is now constantly hissing.
I don't know if it is the smell of the vets or the smell of the cats has changed...
Thank you very much for your advice. I appreciate. It seems now that they have understood that there is no milk.
Just to show you: the first picture is the real mama-cat with her five kittens. The second picture is the ersatz-Mama-cat with two of the five. Btw., the ersatz Mama is also from the...
I have a spayed cat (15 months) and two kittens (3 months). The older cat "talks" to them and cares for them like a mother cat.
However, the two kittens always try to get milk from the spayed cat. She accepts this behavior. But of course, the kittens don't get milk.
Is that OK or problematic...
