Sorry for the late reply y’all. He swallowed bones and they were indeed hurting him which explains the blood. He underwent surgery on Sunday and is currently taking medication. I’ve been force feeding him wet food and water. However, we are not sure as to how much damage the bone fragments caused.
I took my cat to the vet today because he spent the morning vomiting blood. X-rays were done and it seems he ate some bones and may have some poop or hairballs stuck in his system. The vet prescribed Laxatone and told me to feed him wet food 4 times today so he can defecate. However, I can't get...
I got home Friday and realized that my siamese has little red bumps on his ears. I caught him scratching the more noticeable bump in the picture. When I touched his ear I realized it was hot and skmetimes he’ll shake his head. I didn’t see any black stuff inside his ear that can lead me to...
Earlier I noticed my cat’s left eye was twitching so I wiped his eye with a cloth as usual. Now I realized that he has some black discharge literally on his eye, it’s not a lot it’s just sting like. The color isn’t out of the ordinary, his “eye boogers” have always been black. Today I’ve noticed...
I went into the kitchen to grab some food and I didn't realize that my cat followed me in. He found a piece of garlic on the floor (it was relatively small and sliced, it came in a pack). He only licked it once, will he be alright? Seems silly but I'm really concerned.
My sister ate a slice of flan and set her plate aside. My cat came along and licked the pate. I’m worried if it’ll upset his stomach or cause any other reaction. Seems a bit silly but me being the worrywart that I am can’t help but wonder...
Before I went to sleep last night, around 7 p.m, I gave my cats each a can of Fancy Feast chicken pate in gravy. My siamese always wolfs down his food and then tries to steal from his brother’s plate. So around 2 in the morning I wake up to him gagging and throwing up in the middle of the...
I genuinely want to know your experiences with these products so I can narrow down my long list of brands. These are the most affordable for me right now, but I'm open to looking at other brands.
I've been feeding my cats Friskies dry/wet food and occasionally Purina Cat Chow. I was so naive and didn't realize how bad these are. I want to switch their food to something more nutritional for both dry and wet food. One of my cats is slightly overweight. Any recommendations?
