I forgot to mention that he does seem to get better at time and worse other times. For years it was maybe a once of month thing where his ears would bother him but now it seems constant...

    Ear problems

Hello! So I have a 12 year old male kitty. I've had him since the day he was born! His mom abandoned him and his siblings so I had to bottle feed and care for them, so he is literally my baby! For as long as I can remember (since he was atleast a few years old) he and his sister have had...

    Stray Pregnant Cat! Updated

A little update! The babies are doing so well. :hearthrob: They are so playful now. Always running and bugging mom! They will be five weeks old on 1/1/18. I have found homes for all but one. The runt is still considerably smaller than the rest but he keeps up. Haven’t seen him eat any solid food...

Yes, it just blows warm air. It also shuts off if it’s knocked over.

I am going to get kitten food and milk replacement tomorrow to start making them food. I will get toys and stuff for them too. The heater is safe. When they were getting close to it, momma pulled them away too so I think she will watch them closely.

The room they are in is pretty large. I was worried that they’d get too far from each other and get cold. We kitten proofed the room as best as we could. The only thing in there is a lamp, heater, food, water and litter.

We cleaned and let them roam for a bit with our supervision. They were very mobile! Do you suggest we let them roam all the time or only when we are home? Here are some pics!

My husband just texted me and said that momma cat is taking them out of the box and letting them roam so she is already starting the process for me! Haha. When I get home, I am going to clean up their room and make it safe so that they can roam freely whenever they want.

They are 3 weeks old today. I do not want them in the house as it causes behavioral issues for my indoor cat. My thought is I should try sectioning off a safe section of the room they are in now and let them roam there.

Thank you for the quick response!! We currently have them and momma in a heated porch area so that they are away from my indoor cat (who hates them haha). I thought about cleaning it up really well so that they can roam but am concerned because I am not home to watch them during the day. I will...

Can Anyone Tell Me What Kind Of Cat I Have??

I've attached pictures of my little guy! Some background on him: his name is Jerome but we call him Fatty. This is because we had found him and his sisters (3) the day they were born and their momma had left them. I bottle fed and raised them and now he is 8 years old! He was the biggest and...

    Help!!! Ear Cleaning!

You need to get him to the vet. It sounds like he has mites. You'll need to get a medicated drop for him. My cat and all his siblings were born with inner ear problems so every time they scratch their ears, they scream and cry. Numerous trips to vets and SEVERAL rounds of ear mite treatments, we...

How To Retrain 8 Year Old Cat To Use Litter?

He has been using his normal box consistently! He did pee in the box where he did a lot of his marking so I am going to keep it up for a few weeks. I am still working to get the urine smell out of the carpet though. It is barely noticeable now unless you get right next to the spot. Before, you...

I’m going to do my best to make sure the kitten stays with her. She had moved them to a different nest earlier on the day so I am wondering if she was in the process of moving them again and I interrupted her. I will keep an eye on everyone and definitely start weighing to make sure everyone is...

Thank you so much. I bottle fed kittens about 10 years ago so I don’t remember much. But I keep putting the kitten back and the mom cleans it and lets it feed. It seems to want to find a nipple so how much would you suggest I feed it a day if it is also eating off of mom?

    Stray Pregnant Cat! Updated

Hello all. I have something to add to this. Momma cat keeps taking one kitten out of the box away from the rest. The kitten is noticeably smaller than the rest and seems to not be as vocal or mobile. I am afraid that she is rejecting the little girl. What Can I do?
