    Had an emergency tonight...everything seems stable..but still not sure what happen: need advice!

    I think a vet could check for any sign of infection and should be able to disinfect and clean  and up the wound. He may need a course of antibiotics if he has an infection, so I would always say a vet is a good idea. Is he eating drinking normally?
