Both me and my husband have quit smoking and started a more healthier diet and exercise program.  Wish us luck...we've failed so many times before...hoping and praying this time we succeed.

Be very careful with kitty around the birds and remember cats are natural predators of birds.  It's their natural instinct to *catch them*.  I wouldn't let the birds out unless you're always there to monitor the cats behavior around them.  Good luck and hopefully somehow you can make it work.

It's amazing just how much stuff we buy that's made in China that's hazardous to humans and pets.  I'm a label reader and try not to buy any kind of food, toys or treats that's made in China.  Really scary. 

I wanted to add that your kitty looks like a Main Coon. Our little Surry that mysteriously showed up at our house over a month ago, looks almost identical to Heeshi. All grey, fluffy tail with those furry tufts on each side of his face.

Beautiful kitty! I would check the local shelters to see if anyone's inquired about this kitty. Usually they post pics of their newest ones online. If no one comes forth, I would keep heeshi if you can. Just give kitty some good wet and dry food, water bowl, a regular litter box and some...

I just read an article today that said these are killing pets that eat them.  I don't buy any of those treats from China for this reason.  Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Maybe you could buy one of those little battery operated toys that roll and jump or several to keep them occupied while you play with the little one.

We have a king size bed and still barely enough room for me and my husband after our four girl kitties crawl into bed with us.  They love the warmth.  We have a big futon couch in the den upstairs that we let down into a bed for them.  We bought one of those warming pads made just for kitties...
