My heart and prayers go out to you MargeCat. Me and my husband went through a really tough time after the massive layoffs in 2008. He lost his job and was laid off. Despite my prayers, they hubby moved from job to job for three years with the unstable economy, businesses here were still...
Both me and my husband have quit smoking and started a more healthier diet and exercise program. Wish us luck...we've failed so many times before...hoping and praying this time we succeed.
Be very careful with kitty around the birds and remember cats are natural predators of birds. It's their natural instinct to *catch them*. I wouldn't let the birds out unless you're always there to monitor the cats behavior around them. Good luck and hopefully somehow you can make it work.
Awe...Heeshi's absolutey beautiful! What a find you have there. Beautiful pics too and thanks for sharing them. Heeshi looks very, very happy there with you. Sounds like you're a very good Dad to Heeshi.. I love stories like this.
Thanks for sharing!!
It's amazing just how much stuff we buy that's made in China that's hazardous to humans and pets. I'm a label reader and try not to buy any kind of food, toys or treats that's made in China. Really scary.
I wanted to add that your kitty looks like a Main Coon. Our little Surry that mysteriously showed up at our house over a month ago, looks almost identical to Heeshi. All grey, fluffy tail with those furry tufts on each side of his face.
Beautiful kitty! I would check the local shelters to see if anyone's inquired about this kitty. Usually they post pics of their newest ones online. If no one comes forth, I would keep heeshi if you can.
Just give kitty some good wet and dry food, water bowl, a regular litter box and some...
I just read an article today that said these are killing pets that eat them. I don't buy any of those treats from China for this reason. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
We have a king size bed and still barely enough room for me and my husband after our four girl kitties crawl into bed with us. They love the warmth. We have a big futon couch in the den upstairs that we let down into a bed for them. We bought one of those warming pads made just for kitties...
We had sixteen horses when I owned the farm in Indiana. Echo was my little baby though. If I could have brought her inside the house I would have. I stayed in the barn with her a lot of times while we napped together in the straw. Now I live in suburbia Massachusetts...I miss the days on the...
Yes, our kitties loved us very much and brought in many, many "gifts"...LOL Some of those gifts were left in very inconspicuous places and only found once the rotting smell became so strong only then they were found. Thank goodness our kitties are all indoors now and the cat door is a thing of...
Silly me...so here I am so worried about my Surry kitty because usually he comes to me when I stick my head out of the front or back door to call him in for the evening. "Surrrrrrrry...Surrrrrrrry...come on boy, time to come inside now". I look around the front yard, the back yard and no Surry...
LOL, Yeah, Kirby was a real character alright. He's another one that refused to stay indoors because he'd come to us by my sister in law who couldn't keep him any longer. When he wanted in a room where the door was closed, he'd jump up and grab the door knob and and bounce until he got the...
I have six kitties, but only two of them go outside during the day and come in at night...every night. I don't let them stay out at night because of the wild animals roaming about. Mia stays on the front porch and around the house on the back deck and so does Surry. They both come in before...
