I am having trouble understanding how one would know whether a cat is a pointed DSH or a Siamese mix. Leo is a seal point and I read it isn't very common for a DSH to have a seal point coloration. Any ideas ?

She is just a solid black with white areas....all black cats have little bits or hairs of white here and there.

I do cat rescue and this boy was trapped from outside at around 8 weeks old. He is around 4 months now. I have attached some pictures (the one where he is laying in a bin is from when he got neutered and was coming out for shots so don't be alarmed! I am wondering if he is a seal or chocolate...

Hi! I foster cats and kittens for a rescue organization and brought a kitten home the day it was spayed, treated for fleas and worms, etc. I put her in my bathroom and the next morning noticed she had fleas. I used a flea comb and some dawn dish soap and vacuuming the bathroom several times...
