I'm so sorry for you and your little kitty babies but you tried so very hard to save them and loved them so very much. They are together forever. Thinking of you x
Hi All, please look at the pic of my rescue kitty, it is in the strays thread entitled Afghan Rescue, there are two pics. I can't seem to attach fotos anymore, sorry I'm not very good a this stuff. Have a wonderful day everyone
I'm so pleased for both of you, I could cry, I'm such a softie ha ha. She seems to be recovering, asking for food and grooming are good signs. It may take a while for her to go back to eating normally so don't worry about that.
much love to you both
Hi, I joined last week from Spain and have had such a warm welcome. I wanted to share a pic of my kitty who doesn't live with us. He was rescued in Afghanistan by my husband who was serving there last year. They both lived in a rotten camp until the kitty was transported by armoured vehicle...
Is your kitty burrito improving?? Glad you got a different vet to check, I know how worrying it can be. Re microwaving food, remember that food continues to get hot even when taken out of the microwave, so leave it for at least a minute after you remove it from the microwave.
please keep us...
Hi, I live in Spain and thankfully vets are reasonably priced and don't push prescription food if there are alternatives available. My male had a UTI 4 years ago, he had a fit and had crystals in his urine and was in a lot of pain. After treating him, my vet told me if I couldn't afford the...
Hi all, I just want you all to see this pic. This little fella was rescued by my hubby in Afghanistan last year. He lived with hubby for a few months in very basic conditions before being transported on a 4 hour drive via armoured vehicle to relative luxury. He is now fed and cuddled everyday...
How lovely that you are going to get a rescue cat. One advantage of getting a slightly older cat is that you will have some idea of personality and energy level. i.e how much time do you spend at home, kittens need stimulation and training if you want to avoid unwanted behaviours such as...
first of all I understand how you feel about your precious cat but please try not to panic just yet. Cat's can go off food and need sleep for a variety of non-serious reasons. I don't believe in forcing a cat to eat, if he hasn't been eating for a only a few days, although they should be given...
Hi, does he otherwise appear healthy? I ask this as quite often the first signs of illness are changes in behaviour. A week before my cat showed any physical symptoms of UTI, he became very needy and whiny, he kept wanting cuddles and meowing and quite sloppy even though he was eating normally...
