Well, Ole Nellie is back to normal. I drained the wound again yesterday. I applied a warm moist cloth and low and behold tons of crude came out. Cleaned it with some peroxide. Been giving antibiotics two times a day and today, cant even see the wound and he doesnt have a problem with me...

Went to the vet and got some antibiotics for Nellie. I drained the wound myself and it looks good. The vet knows me and my animals and knows if I need him, he is just a phone call away. I will give it a couple of days for the antibiotics to work. If it looks worse, I will take him in. Thanks...

Well, I checked Nellie this morning and well, she seems a little better. Last night the wound oozed a green yellow puss, this morning its like a light reddish/pinkish color. Still gonna call the vet.

When I posted my question last week, I used the methoprene (Hartz) as a top spot. Since then the fleas are just as bad. I now have some Advantage which contains imidicloprid..Can I apply this now, or wait until the 30 days has passed since I appled the methoprene...Im hoping someone can help...
