Diarrhea question - tried probiotics, pumpkin, time for chicken/rice?

Interesting. Thank you. These look like a capsule? So you can just pull it apart and sprinkle it on the food? Sarah

Diarrhea question - tried probiotics, pumpkin, time for chicken/rice?

Thank you. The vet hasn't seen her yet, as I wanted to try a few more things at home before I drag her in. She's acting normal and does not appear to be in distress of any type, so they haven't seen her to rule out IBD. Will take her in next week if this is still going on. Thanks. Sarah

Diarrhea question - tried probiotics, pumpkin, time for chicken/rice?

Good morning, all. My 13-year old female indoor only cat has had soft-service ice cream diarrhea for almost 4 weeks now. I ran a fecal sample to the vet yesterday which came back negative. They said the only thing they can do now is take a look at her, but I wanted to check on additional home...

I have 13 cats. Need advice on possible diet changes. Thoughts on 4Health?

Thank you! I do not have Kahoots pet store, but I do order my cat litter and toys and sometime Friskies wet from Chewy, so I can check out their house brand. I have not tested that yet, and I bet they give samples upon request... I'll have to look into that.

I have 13 cats. Need advice on possible diet changes. Thoughts on 4Health?

I have 13 formerly stray/dumped cats who are all now tamed and vaccinated. They range in age from 2 years to 13 years. They are mainly outside cats, but they all sleep in my garage at night. I am concerned that some of them have become a little overweight in their senior years, and I need advice...

Pee Scooping Out Size Of Marbles + Stress Cystitis?

Hi all, I have a 3-yr old neutered male indoor only cat, Buddy. Never had any health problems with him. When I got back from a 6-night vacation in early June, I quickly noticed that Buddy was running in and out of the litter box nonstop. Like 8-9 times in the first 30 minutes I was home. It...

Flea Allergy Dermatitis - Back Of Upper Rear Legs?

Thank you. I've not seen any more evidence of fleas, so I assume if the irritation is due to fleas, it should clear up soon. Does anyone think it warrants a vet visit?? There no bleeding or infection, just a bumpy area that he's biting. Thanks.

Flea Allergy Dermatitis - Back Of Upper Rear Legs?

Hello all. My 2-year old indoor only has been gnawing at the back of his legs, and when I rub my fingers back there, I can feel a thin line of bumps. Upon googling, it appears that one cause can be flea allergy dermatitis. 2 weeks ago I spotted a flea or 2 and treated with Advantage 2, and it...

Kitten Diarrhea... Again... Does Dry Or Wet Typically Cause This??

Yes, the 4health dry is a cream bag with Purple Label - "all life stages" dry. And thanks for this suggestion also. I will find this probiotic immediately. He's getting better, but as it appears he may have a sensitive stomach, having this around will likely be handy. Thanks. Sarah

Kitten Diarrhea... Again... Does Dry Or Wet Typically Cause This??

So far, we haven't had any vomiting. My little guy LOVES to eat, particularly the wet food. I have to feed him in a separate room from the others because he finishes quickly and tries to get into his siblings' wet food. He also seems to like the 4Health dry food, as I see him nibbling at the dry...

Kitten Diarrhea... Again... Does Dry Or Wet Typically Cause This??

Hi again, I'm trying to learn about how to determine the cause of diarrhea, and I've tried to go through threads about diarrhea in both the health and nutrition forums. Please forgive me if I've missed something and am asking redundant questions. We've had my 5-month old kitten about 4 weeks...

Kitten W Diarrhea Coming Off Hills Pres I/d - What Brand Next?

Hello and thanks for the reply. Yes, we slowly started the 4health. We're now on Day 3 of no problems at all. He's still on the I/D wet, Fortiflora and now the 4health. After 2 more days, I will try one feeding of the Fancy Feast kitten and see how it goes, then start mixing the 2. Again, thanks...
