We had a similar problem with our three cats....they are indoor/outdoor and two of them are fine being left inside for periods of time but our female gets seriously stressed when she's forced to be inside for extended period of time. It's to the point of being concerned about her mental state...
I use these bowls from Petco. They're great!

I totally agree with this! I've tried lots of different brands, textures, and flavors with my two cats and their favorite seems to be Natural Balance Chicken Liver Pate and Turkey w/ Giblets. My boy kittie is pretty picky about canned food, but he gobbles these two right down.
I use a big Rubbermaid storage container that's about 17" high with Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra litter. The amount of litter I find outside the box is minimal.
She is in pain... you need to talk to your vet about pain management for her. Her inappropriate elimination may or may not improve. Some declawed cats *never* go back to using the litter box... it's just too painful for them. I wish you the best of luck with your kitten!

Oh, I'm excited for that review! I've been thinking about getting that Pioneer Big Max one for awhile now....
I actually just saw a Petco ceramic fountain this morning (http://www.petco.com/product/112616/...t_catfountains) that I think I like better. I like how the fountain part is in the...
I'm trying to find a better way of disposing the litter after I scoop it. Right now I just put it in a small waste basket and empty it once a day. But it stinks to high heaven! I was looking at the Litter Locker II, but I really don't want the added expense of having to buy the refills every...
