    Cats waking up too early

So my two cats, Simba & Jasmine tend to wake up around 5am. When they do get up, that early they tend to playfully chase each other from the living room into the bedroom. I've watched it...there's no hissing, growling, etc.  Wouldn't mind it so much if it was closer to 7am when my wife & I are...

    Litterbox issue

I don't think that would help my wife, being that when I watch tv in bed, while she's sleeping, I'll wear headphones so the tv doesn't disturb her. I will tell her about this idea anyway, thanks. I won't move her litterbox yet. Definitely hard with limited space!

    Litterbox issue

Jasmine is also rather skittish...she was a stray then taken in by a shelter. I'll discuss those options with my wife tonight so we can help resolve this issue. Hopefully in due time she'll adjust further. Thanks again!

    Litterbox issue

I remember the first day we opened the gate between the bedroom and the rest of the condo to formally introduce them, the first thing Simba did was go pee in her litterbox, as if he was marking his territory. Then he went over to her food bowl and ate some of her dry food. I use a self clumping...

    Litterbox issue

We've had Jasmine for a couple weeks now, the first week we kept them separated so Jasmine can get adjusted. Once they...

    Cat scared of TV

Unfortunately, due to our condo layout, we can't relocate the tv but will accomodate Jasmine by turning it off when needed. Maybe we'll turn the bedroom tv on again and see how she reacts to that one. Actually the bedroom tv sits much higher than the living room tv but the bedroom tv is smaller...

    Cat scared of TV

I definitely don't want to cause her any additional unwanted stress. And yes, makes sense that as she's getting more comfortable, she's showing more of herself. That first time she actually sat and watched the tv I figured she was a natural couch potato...oh well! lol I'll update with any progress.

    Cat scared of TV

The weird thing is that the first week we had her...I had turned the tv on in the bedroom, where she mostly stays and she just sat on the bed watching it with amazement. The tv in there is a 32". I haven't turned it back on since we noticed her being scared of the living room tv because the...
