Even though Fancy Feast isn't the greatest food, you might want to give it a try. Most of my cats go crazy for the grilled variety.

My 4 cats that are on raw only poop once every two to three days, and they are mostly small, dry poops without much odor.

I found giving them a bit of food with gravy seems to coat their throat and gets them ready to swallow a pill. I also coat the pill in the gravy or butter.

I found putting the liquid into a pill and then quickly covering it in butter and pilling them works the best. It does sometimes take 3 or 4 pills.
