Have they ever even felt the outside, like the wind or ext? If not then they are going to be hesitant and afraid since it's new and they've never been exposed. Maybe to get them used to it a bit, just hold them one at a time and walk around outside. Just so they can get curious about it.
Ohh okay I only thought that because my friend said that was why, but yes she's a former stray so that may be it. She had three kittens and they are growing pretty well, and she eats purina one. I don't see any other issues with her. She feeds them and is still lovable, she's a good mom/girl :)
