I don't think there's any deterrent that would work safely. Smell deterrents aren't reliable and electronic collar systems seems inhumane to me.
Would you consider fencing off the dangerous area with a cat-proof fence? (google it to see some pictures)
If neither one got hurt, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Our two siblings love each other, but still "argue" sometimes. Once in a while Luke takes play-fighting too far and Leia gets mad at him, but they both get over it in a few minutes. (They've never hurt each other.)
We have two one-year-old cats, siblings, spayed. They are wonderful, get along with us and each other. They have tons of toys, shelves to climb...
The only problem is... they destroy any sort of decorations.
The most annoying things are: they remove posters from the wall and they destroy...
I finally found a solution for our pilling troubles! :) I'm sooo happy and just have to share the secret...
We had to feed out poor kittens several different pills for the two months since we've got them and they became really good at resisting.
Now they have to take metronidazole twice a day...
We adopted two kittens from a shelter on Saturday - brother and sister, 6-7 months old. They haven't been spayed yet. They have been vaccinated against the herpes virus, calicivirus, chlamydia and leukopenia.
From the first day they have a cold. They have a stuffy nose and sneeze all the time...
Hi everybody! I'm Quizzie.
I promised to post a picture of the kitten once we adopt one... And we finally adopted two 6-month-old sibblings from a shelter: Luke and Leia:
They're still getting used to their new home, but they already follow us around the house and snuggle beside my computer...
We would pick her up. I also wondered why the germs wouldn't be a problem then (she already has a new litter now). Maybe she'd hand the kitten over outside...
Yeah, wow, poor dog! Dogs need socializing... I guess some breeders just don't know where to stop.
The breeder lives quite far away from us. Actually we wanted to go for a visit to see the kittens... And the breeder said it's not how she does it and that we could infect the unvaccinated kittens.
That's good news. :)
Yep, we're definitely considering it. Especially if we find two siblings...
