Getting frustrated with 9 month old kitten peeing outside of litter box

It might be unpleasant, but if you can get her using the box consistently, you might be able to gradually cut down on the number.

    My cat disappeared.

I would recommend checking out Missing Pet Partnership and cats in the bag for great tips on finding a lost cat. Those methods helped me find my lost Polly (it turned out she was hiding in the attic for 10 days!)

    Leaving your kitty for vacation?

Can you start having a few friends over regularly? Do you think she could get used to some of your friends if you had them at your house enough?

    Dry Food and Teeth

How do you use the dental rinse? I bought some chlorhexadine spray, but Prego doesn't like to get anything sprayed into his mouth. I'm thinking of trying to put some on some gauze and rub that on his teeth. To the OP, I put Prego, who has always been chubby, on an all-wet diet, and now he's...

Does dry cat food formulated for indoor cats really help with hairballs?

Prego won't eat Laxatone, so my vet said it was ok to give him a little petroleum jelly. He will lick that right off my finger.  Also, Polly stopped coughing up hairballs when I went from brushing her three days a week to everyday brushing.

Possible UTI, anything I can do to help her now?

My vet always finds a way to squeeze my cats in if it's urgent. Even if they don't have any appointments left, they will ask me to drop off the sick kitty and see her or him between appointments.

should i be concerned cat vomiting

Do you brush him each day? That's the simplest way to keep hairballs down if that's the problem. My Polly has IBD, and she has done well on Fancy Feast (classic flavors only) and 9 lives.

Litter Genie, Litter Champ or Safety 1st Simple Step Diaper Pail?

I use the Litter Locker II (make sure you get the 2 not the 1). I'm using it with some 10-gallon plastic office bags. I love how convenient it is, and regular garbage bags are so much cheaper than the real refills. The smell is not an issue with the thinner bags because all the cat waste is...

    Cats both throw up

My Polly tends to throw up shortly after eating due to IBD. The things that helped her was changing to a diet free of grains, fruits or vegetables and giving both cats smaller portions to slow down her eating. My vet also suggested putting ping pong balls in her food, but when I tried it, she...

Stepped on my kitten! Please help!

I have stepped on little paws, and once tried to close my cat in the door (obviously not on purpose). I have also closed Polly's paw in her food container.  They always forgive me :-) Your kitty will too.

15yr old cat likes to lick us, is this normal?

Polly likes to give me kisses (lick my face) in the morning. I think it's just a way of showing affection.

Tried to help, now I'm heartbroken...

Even if he's not a cat person, how could he be so cruel to his wife?

Litter Box Problems After De-claw Surgery; Please Help!

I don't agree with declawing cats either, but it's already done, so we should try and help the OP. Although a mistake was made, it's clear the OP loves the kitty. Have you tried seeing if she'll go on puppy paper?

How to save my cat from nasty neighbour

I have seen on the TV show My Cat From Hell, that there is some kind of fencing material that is at a 45 degree angle, that a cat cannot climb over, but I can't remember what it's called? Anybody else watch the show and know what it is? While your neighbors shouldn't be mistreating your cat...
