Update- So this morning I found two bits of throw-up. One was old and must’ve happened overnight, and the other must have been right after breakfast when I went to go change clothes since it was fresh. The overnight pile had a small piece of crafting foam in it. (We keep that stuff in our closet...
Hello,
Two nights ago, my 1.5-year-old orange tabby Max started doing this weird thing occasionally where he turns his head to the right and chews, like he has something stuck in his teeth. Later, a few hours after dinner, he threw up. At first I thought it was just because I fed him and my...
Hi all again,
Max has been perfectly fine since yesterday afternoon, no back end stumbling and just as hyper as ever. My bf and I are also convinced after I reweighed the cats that the scale is not accurate for them, and Max only seems thinner because we spent several days at my parents' house...
I suppose that’s always possible given his heart murmur. He was checked for heart conditions last month and appeared to be fine. I’ll hold off on that concern since he seems to have gotten better during today, but if this appears to be a continuous issue, I’ll certainly bring it up.
I weighed my cats two more times and the scale differed by a few fractions of a pound each time, so I’m thinking it may not be accurate. My bf also said Max maybe didn’t actually lose weight, but we think he did because we were seeing my parents’ cats for several days, and they’re noticeably...
I also tend to be a very anxious person in general, so I’m concerned I might be exaggerating his condition and he ends up fine. I’m keeping a close eye on him and will definitely see about a hospital visit if anything drastic comes up.
Both litter boxes have urine and feces, so they look normal. And the treats are a type they’ve been eating for months with no issues.
I asked and she said the orher cat fell off the cat tree but appeared fine. Nothing unusual witnessed from Max. I was also thinking maybe he had a *slight*...
Hi all,
Health history:
So I have a 1.5-year-old neutered ginger shorthair cat named Max. He was a stray for 3 months before we adopted him as a kitten and has a history of a slight heart murmur with no underlying disease found behind it.
Issue:
Today I’m working from home after being out of...
Out vet did suggest wet food for the weight too. I’ve been trying so hard to stick to dry due to the expense of wet food, but if it would help with other issues, I suppose I should ask my vet about allergies and shop around. I know Graham likes wet food since he’s had it before. Our other cat...
Hi all,
So I have a 11-month-old, male, fixed, indoor-only, white and orange short-hair cutie pie named Graham, and ever since about a month ago, he’s been scratching at his ears and shaking his head a bit more than usual. It’s not constant, and it’s not bad enough to wake him up when he’s...
