It's possible she's sore. My cat is always sleepy for 24 hours after his vaccines. Our vet said that's normal. I would call your vet if your kitty is still limping when she wakes up.

Thank you. Sometimes it's good to hear that. I'be been worrying about how to keep him as calm as I can during this trip and I think it's time to make plans how to keep me calm too! Max will meow loudly probably until security and then realize he would much rather be in his carrier and settle down.

Is it possible she's purring very quietly and you aren't hearing it? I only ask because I recently scared myself with the same thing about my cat. I hope she's fine!

bed bugs don't live on their food source. They're attracted to warmth to eat and then they go back into hiding. Unless your cat is actively being bitten, no bed bugs should be on him. I would just isolate the cat from the bug source, probably your mattress. 

Are you sure they aren't the cat's nipples? If they spread symmetrically down both sides they're probably just nipples. One time my mom thought my dog had an infected tick bite and took him to the vet, and it ended up being his belly button.
