Pearl ONLY wants to drink from the faucet. She hates it when she must drink from her bowl. I am going to buy one of those cat fountains that Hissy suggested. She would love that!!!!

I like to think thatPearl is giving me kisses and telling me she loves me. I also notice she's more prone to lick me when she is grooming herself and laying on or next to me. She's also an ear sucker so it's hard to say with her!!!!

I think she may have been taken away too young but her sister never did it. That's why I was curious.

Have you ever heard WHY cats do this? I have heard many reasons but no one knows for sure. And I will vote.

I know this might sound crazy but I believe that shapes make cats think it is a litterbox area. I had a similar problem with my cat Pearl and she is 8. Everytime I put something rectangular near her litterbox or even where her litterbox used to be (for example dog bed, bath rug, her cat bed)...
