    Exercise

Hi kurikitty, Maybe first solve the problem with her not leaving your room, that is a sad situation. Was the new cat properly introduced? Is it possible to go through it again? Exercise for cats is simply playing and running, being full of energy as young cats normally are. I would think if...

Great that he can fill that role for you! Any chance of a play mate for him?

Bloated Cat - Need Vet Care?

As long as he's playing, eating, pooping, I would not be too worried. As soon as he becomes lethargic though, straight to the vet. And give them each their own bowl of food so you know what's going on with each of them. Also keep an eye on his drinking. Young cats can easily become dehydrated...

    Going Crazy!!!!

I wouldn't stop the one thing that seems to give him some relieve from the stress he seems to be under. I would also look into why he is so uphappy and try to fix it. Sorry to hear he is denied a mate. Cats do so much better when not alone.

    Going Crazy!!!!

Actually I have 4 siamese and they don't meow all the time at all. They're vocal when they want something or we're playing, but they don't go around the house meowing at all. Something is stressing Mordecai out and we need to figure out what it is and calm him down. Another kitten would help...

    Going Crazy!!!!

He is very young, he may do a whole lot better with a play mate to take his need for attention of the humans a bit.

    A Smart Cat Owner Poem

A Smart Cat Owner A smart cat owner sees their cat as a buddy, a friend, he respects and loves without end. Not a dog to be diciplined. A smart cat owner never punishes their cat, make them sad. They accommodate their natural behaviour, not curb it to fit the humans flavor. A smart cat owner...

Sudden Behavior change in 2 cats

It looks like your only option for the moment is to let them be. As they were happy around humans before, they may come around eventually and decide it's safe again in tne house. Maybe plug in some Feliway diffusors?

    Fluctuating weight issue

Hi Brina, With her stool being fine, appetite good, playfull and being happy, I would not worry about this. I would get her a separate spot to eat in though so you can monitor gow much she eats. I also think cats eating from the same bowl can definitely be a source of (unseen) stress. So for...

    I guess I should introduce myself :)

Hi redneckprincess, Thank you for doing such a great job with the strays! This is indeed a good site for cat lovers. Lots of knowledge and support here. Some difficulty for me with a few folks who kinda treat their cats like dogs, dicipline them, keep them in benches, punishing them. But...

    Ear Infection Question

Hi Lea98, I'm not a vet or an expert, but I think she will stop when she has no more bother from the infection. Is she on anti-biotics? If it doesn't get better just call the vet, see what they think about it?
