As long as he's playing, eating, pooping, I would not be too worried. As soon as he becomes lethargic though, straight to the vet. And give them each their own bowl of food so you know what's going on with each of them. Also keep an eye on his drinking. Young cats can easily become dehydrated...

I wouldn't stop the one thing that seems to give him some relieve from the stress he seems to be under. I would also look into why he is so uphappy and try to fix it. Sorry to hear he is denied a mate. Cats do so much better when not alone.

Actually I have 4 siamese and they don't meow all the time at all. They're vocal when they want something or we're playing, but they don't go around the house meowing at all. Something is stressing Mordecai out and we need to figure out what it is and calm him down. Another kitten would help...

He is very young, he may do a whole lot better with a play mate to take his need for attention of the humans a bit.

It looks like your only option for the moment is to let them be. As they were happy around humans before, they may come around eventually and decide it's safe again in tne house. Maybe plug in some Feliway diffusors?
