I think Catpack referred to us in a previous post.
Nanook was ferral and displaying exactly the same behaviour you talk about in your posts. I understand how you are feeling, it's just so stressful for you both and the cat.
We followed the advice on here and used the crating method.
Some think...
Nanook is just over 1 year old now and has been going outside for the last 2 months.
We really want him to use the outside toilet but he keeps coming in to use his litter tray. Even for a pee.
All cats we have had in the past have managed to work it out, except Nanook. He's not the brightest of...
He's a year old in April.
He was not chatty when we got him he was totally ferral. Then he started to come out of his shell And was still very quiet.
I guess now he's comfortable with us we are seeing the real him.
or perhaps he's been saving it all up and it's just burst out all at once.
The vet gave him a really good check over when we were there. He's eating his food fine and is just as active as ever so I'm sure there is nothing medically wrong. He just seems to be very needy.
It could be a result of me giving him so much attention when we were making him less ferral and...
He was sold as a birman but looks like a snowshoe
I'd say it's increased over the last two weeks. He was only at the vets last week with a sore eye and she checked him over then. That's now healed.
Just need to know how to get him to be a little quieter.
Nanook was a semi-feral cat that i have spent the last few months training.
He has been totally reformed and is now a loving smoochy cat.
But Nanook has one problem - he has become unbaringly vocal. So vocal that we really need help.
He meows constantly when we come home from work until we go...
I thought I had better give a progress report as it has been some time since I posted, and the last post seemed so negative.
Nanook is now coming on lovely.
We have had MANY ups and downs but in the last 3 weeks he has really started to settle in to being one of the family.
He now sits with...
I have a very timid cat called Nanook, he is now 9 months old.
I have spent the last few months working on solving his semi-feral nature and creating a strong bond with him.
Now he follows me around like a shadow and just wants constant loving and petting.
I got him micro chipped the other...
Up and down like a yo yo at the moment.
He got better for a few days, was even jumping up onto the cat scratcher when i asked him to.
He is still in the room and really want to let him out to see the rest of the house and maybe eventually he can go outside.
So he let me put a collar on him...
