yeah i know thanx you've given me this speech before, you know, you shouldn't criticize other peoples decisions, maybe it would be useful to me if i hadn't done it already, but now when you say it after the fact, it just sounds patronizing. I will fully stand by my decision to declaw Gracie.

My bf left for a 10 day trip a couple of days ago, and Gracie's behavior has been odd to say the least!!! she's been very naughty, and sleeping in unusual positions in unusual spots, just very unchracteristic of her. Also every time i come home she is waiting by the door and tries to race right...

I know this was a previous thread, but i am experiencing the same problems with Gracie. She will bite hands and arms it seems, but it doesn't seem aggressive, only playful. I read on a site to try crying really loud when they bite, and it works, she'll stop in her tracks and look at me like...

you are so lucky that she even sleeps at all at night!!! Gracie use to be so active at night, jumping on the bed and biting my tootsies!!! and you couldn't even shut her out of the room because she would meow outside the door for HOURS until she was let in, she hated being alone!!! Kittys take...

lol, i love my cat, it definitely keeps me sane when i am home all day. It's nice to be able to talk to ppl who apprecitae their felines as much as i do, cause most ppl think i go overboard babying my kitty!

Gracie is on our down comforter, the lighting is dim, and while she looks like she is posing, she is really being mischevious. She's a tabby cat with striping, but the stripes aren't very defined cause she is so fluffy!

Thanx for the warm welcome!!!! i had to find out the hard way how heated the discussion gets on this forum about declawing!!!! As soon as i can figure out a way to post a pic i will!

We'll see i guess, she seems to be fine, balance doesn't seem to be an issue.

i was in a new pet store in a town nearby and found a spray that you spray in the air above your cat, its falls on it, then you brush it through the fur!! Now Gracie is even more of a princess cause she smells like she just stepped out of the beauty parlor.

i respect everyones opinion on declawing, but i had my cat Gracie declawed at the same time she was spayed, and the day she cam home it was like nothing had even happened. They have that new procedure with the laseer and i guess it isn't as painful.
