I agree with taking her to the vet. I know a lot of people tend to forums like this and ask because they are low on funds and believe me I can relate! If that is the case and the reason you have not yet taken her; a lot of humane societies (at least in the US) help with cost and/or provide care...

Your cat is only 6 months. I think after a while the accidentally grabbing on and hurting people will stop. Poptart always used to panic and grab when you where moving her off. She is now 1 year 5 months and she has stopped.  I wouldn't declaw your cat, I would rather lock my cat in the room...

While I would never give Hartz (I have never heard of Sargents) it did say that it was because the cat was given a dog dose.
