Thank God his stitches didn't actually pop! They are suppose to look like they are coming apart as his anatomy stretches. He's back home and doing good
You may try just ringing up another vet. I know that changing vets is expensive and a hassle. But really, they should be able to answer any questions over the phone. I don't know why yours won't.
