Thanks, guys, for your responses. That makes sense. I used to get her a different go Cat flavour every time I bought a new box, but at some stage we got stuck with the duck. I have 2 alternative brands at home now and we'll rotate that. Thanks for your advice. :)

Update: She wasn't eating much yesterday, slept a lot and hissed at me, too, this morning. She surely is in pain. I had booked her in to the vet anyway... Diagnosis: She has a killer abscess from a bite from another cat on the small of her back - probably that tomcat here in the neighbourhood...
