I was moreso referring to like whatever negative ions or whatever it's supposed to have on humans; could that be harmful to cats?

Does anyone know if these salt lamps are actually toxic to cats? Would they have to ingest them by licking, or could simply bring around one cause a poisoning effect?

Im transitioning off of veterinary wet and dry food to all-meat wet food only for my 2 cats. One has always eaten the vet fibre food because she gets constipated. Currently she hasn't pooped in a couple days since I started the wet food only diet. My other cat has had interstitial cystitis so...

Yeah he had inflammation of the bladder and some blood in the urine, no blockage. He drinks distilled water from a cat fountain.... Lol.

What about the increased protein for raw diets.... Is that bad for urinary issues?

I really should make the switch to raw while I'm home for the summer. I don't want to prepare it myself so it would need to be a high quality prepared raw food.... What are the first things I need to know about transitioning and doing it safely?

Alternatively, can anyone recommend the best food for interstitial cystitis that is also good for IBD or food sensitivity? I've read some bad hints about Acana and blood in the urine and stool on some forums, but it seems to be from a different manufacturer in the states? I'm in Canada.

He had a urinalysis done last week and there was a bit of blood in it, about the same as a few months ago, but the vet said the only things we can do are keeping giving him the SO, lots of water, and the cosequin supplement for his bladder lining. He has never had actual stones present, just...

The vet did a full blood work up and X-ray and couldn't find anything, save for the inflamed bronchi. He was ok for a couple of days, and now today he did eat his breakfast and then spent the entire day sleeping. Again he wouldn't come down for his dinner... I wrapped him up in a burrito blanket...
