I have not tried any natural treatments. I've been hesitant to go that route because I've from many they're not as effective. It you've had success with them...so who knows.

I highly doubt the lunatic theory. We live in a small town with a decent stray cat population and everyone feeds/shelters them. Although possible, I don't think it's very likely. And I'd think if she were hit by a car on a road, she wouldn't be able to crawl away. I can only see this happening...
