if you feed a raw diet, you MUST be sure that you know what you're doing and that all the
vitamins and minerals a kitten /cat needs is in there. There are forums on it but it really isn't
as simple as just feeding them raw meat. Sorry if you already knew that.
can i just give a tip for any kittens born not breathing after mum has done her job.
take the kitten and swing it a few times, not too roughly, in an up and down movement.
It tends to work better than rubbing it, gets air into their lungs.
i'm from Uk and the pet food mentioned in here is often stuff i haven't heard of.
if you can get Hills A/D from your vet, thats a very soft food
and bland. but don't keep them on that long but it may just get them started.
Sometimes petsathome have Hills pates.
Just seen that Hills do a...
hi
they should be starting to eat very soon. its time to try them now. get some soft pate -type kitten
food and mix a bit of their usual milk in it to make sloppy. take them to the dish and physically put
little bits of it in their mouths. if they're ready , they'll soon start. Hope this...
Can you get canned evaporated milk ? If you can dilute it half and half with warm water ( boiled cooled down is best) .
You need to get a small syringe and feed the kitten with that only SMALL amounts at a time but every couple of hours.

What has he been eating since you got him ? Is he eating the same as what the breeder fed him?
I am very concerned that any bengal breeder would let a kitten go at 5 weeks old. He won't have finished
weaning from his mum and is why he's trying to feed off your other cat.
Bengal...
You say the kitten is 8 weeks and you've had him for 3 weeks ? so he was taken away from his mother at 5 weeks?
If thats the case, sorry but thats WAY too young. Bengals wean later than other cats generally.
If she's well in herself and eating well , i wouldn't worry too much at this stage tbh.
Vets don't always get it right and as another poster said, FIP is very difficult to be certain of.
In fact, it can only be absolutely definite on postmortem.
One of my 12 yr spayed girls had a swollen...
Hi
The mother will potty train them or they just learn themselves very quickly from watching mum.
Twice a day scopping should be enough.
Just be aware that some kittens will try to eat litter. Some litters can totally dry out a kittens mouths
and can be very dangerous to them.
I've always...
Hi
If she seems well in herself now, is there any possibilty she could be pregnant? I mean , do you know if she's spayed or not ? has her slight swelling of the abdomen gone down or not ? have her nipples pinked up?
