I'm not really sure. I know Amber has very good eye sight. Last month she saw a small drop tail lizard on my bedroom wall. She can also see mice in amongst the rubbish/leaves/twigs we have down the back.
My Mum says cats can see the colour red though + have better night vision than humans.

We (parents & I) only have 1 cat - though, we also have a greyhound... and feel so bad in saying Amber is my favourite. But give them attention/love equally.
Mum buys Amber Iams - rarely now - she really loves them. Most of the time we feed her Whiskas Cravers. Her canned food (Dine) which she is really picky about, well we usually give her something in a sauce, seafood flavours - doesn't really like the chicken/beef flavours anymore.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I don't think bringing the mice inside is going to stop any time soon - in fact our cat (parents & I) brought another mouse inside this morning, unfortunately I think the mouse is still inside. Hmmm, I certainly don't remember our first cat ever bringing mice...
